We are walking in the Teddy Bear Fest 5km because of our son Chet who was diagnosed with a heart Defect called Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Connection( TAPVC) Supracardiac at 2 days old then was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension after his open heart surgery at 2 and half months old and if it wasn’t for the stollery we don’t know what would of happened. The level of care from the transport team from Camrose to Edmonton from the NICU/PCICU doctors and Nurses to his surgeons and his cardiologist and the whole 4C staff has been top notch they care about every patient and family that walks through those doors. it’s fundraisers like the Teddy Bear Fest 5km that helps support kids like Chet that need the level of care that the Stollery offers You can help us reach our goal by making a donation. Every dollar goes toward helping kids like Chet receive world-class care, and toward building a new, dedicated Stollery hospital for future families.
We're joining in the Teddy Bear FUN to help support world-class care for kids and families at the existing Stollery, while also bringing to life a new stand-alone Stollery for the future.
We're participating in Teddy Bear Fun Fest on May 9, 2026, at Rundle Park. In addition to a 5 km fun run/walk/roll, I’m ready to enjoy a day full of FUN and FUNdaising in support of Stollery kids.
The Stollery is a cause that’s near and dear to our hearts. With your support, we’ll help kids from backyards across Alberta – and beyond access world-class physical and mental health care – and have a ton of fun while we’re doing it!
