I’m joining in the Teddy Bear FUN to help support world-class care for kids and families at the existing Stollery, while also bringing to life a new stand-alone Stollery for the future.

I’m participating in Teddy Bear Fun Fest on May 9, 2026, at Rundle Park. In addition to a 5 km fun run/walk/roll, I’m ready to enjoy a day full of FUN and FUNdaising in support of Stollery kids.

The Stollery is a cause that’s near and dear to my heart. With your support, we’ll help kids from backyards across Alberta – and beyond access world-class physical and mental health care – and have a ton of fun while we’re doing it!

Winter Hazel Graham Our Beautiful Angel

Friday 13th Mar

This year we are once again participating in the Teddy Bear Fun Fest to help raise awareness and funds for the tiny angels who fight every day just to be here with us. Though they are small in size, their hearts and strength are greater than most people will ever know.

Our baby girl, Winter, was one of those incredible little fighters. She battled every single day, and somehow still greeted the world with the most beautiful smile. Her strength was unlike anything I have ever witnessed. She showed us what courage truly looks like.

When Winter left us, she took a large piece of my heart and soul with her. Losing her changed me forever. I still think about her constantly, and I still talk to her quietly in my heart.

The three months we spent with her in the hospital were some of the hardest days of our lives. But they were also some of the most meaningful, because we got to be with her every single day. In that short time, she taught us more about love than many people learn in a lifetime.

Even now, I feel like she walks with me—holding her daddy’s hand when life gets heavy, reminding me to keep going.

You will always be my little Winter Bear, and I will love you forever.

You fought so hard baby and we were and are so proud to be your parents. Even though you left us late that night, you never truly left my life. I still feel you with me in the quite moments. I feel you holding my hand when life becomes heavy. And in my heart, i carry you on my shoulders through every step i take in this world. You are still a part of my life, part of my strength and part of who I am. I want you to know you are loved as deeply today as the day you were born. Time hasn't changed that. It never will. One day, when my journey here is finished, i know we will meet again. And when that day comes, i will finally hold you again.
